Welcome to Denny Mac's Web Site and how I became a professional dog groomer.
Brought up like most children animal mad and always bringing home some unfortunate animal (much to my mother's horror!) ie. the hedgehog aka Monty Woodpig, birds with broken wings, beaks, claws and kittens found in riding stables, all needless to say were sent back to their natural habitat, vet or suitable home.
My love for animals continued into adulthood and now I have a rescue cat of 19 years old, 3 working sheep dogs and a red setter cross. My first dog led me into the wonderful world of agility and obedience where I now train and compete in agility with all my dogs.
The sport has taught me the joy of bonding, enjoying and understanding dogs and led me to pursue a City and Guilds diploma in dog grooming/welfare.
Passing with a distinction I decided to change career path from recruitment to dog grooming a decision I have never regretted.
I also belong to an Obedience and Agility club which supports all the local rescue dog homes.
